The Office of Research & Scholarship, in cooperation with the Dean’s Office, is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for students in the School of Education. This grant will support undergraduate and graduate students with an award of up to $1,500 to travel to an academic conference where they will be a presenter or co-presenter.
Eligibility criteria:
- Students must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student with a declared major in an academic program within the School of Education.
- Students must have approval from the academic department chair or the Principal Investigator of their research project.
- Students must be confirmed as presenters or co-presenters at the conference to which they are traveling. This includes presenting or co-presenting a poster, breakout session, keynote, or other conference-sponsored session.
Terms and conditions:
- Travel must be booked through the student’s academic department or through the School of Education’s Client Services team. Individually booked travel will not be supported.
- Sponsored travel must adhere to all UW travel policies.
- The Office of Research & Scholarship will support requests on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.
