Internal Funding Opportunities Remain Open To Proposals

Although the deadline for LOIs for the One School Innovation Fund has passed (encouraged, not required), we continue to invite interested groups to submit proposals by the Feb. 25, 2026 deadline.

Additionally, the deadline for Incubator Grants has been extended to Feb. 28, 2026. These programs reflect our commitment to the Wisconsin Idea and our strategic priorities—empowering faculty and staff to pursue bold ideas that improve education, enhance well-being, and build community.

Jan. 13 Info Session Recap

On Jan. 13, 2026, ORS hosted an info session about both of these SoE funding opportunities. Thank you to those who attended! Slides are now available from the event for anyone interested in referencing this resource.

News and Announcements

Are you planning to submit a proposal to an RFP in February or March? If you haven’t already, please submit our quick form to let us know your intent so we can plan our resources to best support you. The earlier you can let us know, the better!

The Recruitment and Retention Resource Center (RRRC) at ICTR recently created a Recruitment Materials Repository. This is a curated collection of research participant-facing materials, including study recruitment flyers and brochures, social media ads, and videos. If your team is recruiting study participants, the repository will be a valuable resource for planning your recruitment and outreach materials. Anyone at UW may request access to the repository through ICTR’s online form.

A new Workday Worksheet template is now available that consolidates multiple reports into a single, Excel-like worksheet, including: Grant Budget to Actuals Summary (UW), Program Budget to Actuals Summary (UW), Project Budget to Actuals Summary (UW), and Gift Financial Summary (UW). This is filterable by PI, loads live data, supports scheduled data refreshes, and is shareable with anyone who has Workday access. ORS is working with SoE Department Administrators to create and review these reports by PI. Once accuracy and reliability are confirmed, we will share them directly with PIs. For those interested in exploring the report independently, the report template and job aid are available for anyone with Workday access. If you have questions, please contact  research@education.wisc.edu.
