Molly Wesling

Molly joined WCER as a senior proposal editor in April 2020. Previously, she was the first full-time research proposal editor in the University of Wisconsin–Madison Department of Surgery (2016-2020). From 2007 to 2016, she managed a federally funded doctoral training program in education sciences.

Molly’s experience includes independent editing of academic manuscripts; teaching of Russian language and literature at the college level; and research in the field of 19th- and 20th-century Slavic literatures. From 1987 to 1988, she worked for the U.S. Department of State as a Russian-speaking exhibit guide in the former USSR, where she demonstrated the use of computer technology in everyday life.

Molly holds a B.A. in Russian from Barnard College of Columbia University and a PhD in Russian and Polish literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
